    Update: Dipper the Gold Campine revealed himself to be a boy yesterday. At 7 weeks and 3 days he crowed! He's still a baby though and very friendly, he always comes to me and will perch on my shoulder. I might just keep him.

    It turns out we definitely have two Legbar chicks. However, the worse news is that our Gold Campine is definitely a boy. I'd suspected this from his behaviour (he chases our dog!) So he has to go, sadly. Here's a pic. (he's just six weeks old)

    Hi, New member here but not new to chickens. We've had chickens for 7 years now, our oldest are still laying, though not so frequently, they are a Cream Legbar called Dr Zeuss, two Cuckoo Marans called Thing one and Thing Two and a Pekin Bantam called Mumble who is almost permanently broody so...
