    Wow! I've been so busy with spring time I almost forgot update. I think I see some greening, I'm going to give it a chance to make a comeback. Next winter I'll have a plan.

    Pineapple timeline

    Wow! In mid February it got down to 18°, it stayed below 0 for 8 hours. I brought it in the shed but it got real cold. The damage was done. We'll see how it recovers this spring. I haven't given up yet. Just keeping it moist and letting it get some sun. It's back in the 70s now so....

    We use it too! Works great for traction on the mud. The duck like it to sleep and nest in. I get it from the box store. Cheap and convenient.

    Catching a Duck!

    We borrowed one (live trap)from the wildlife officer in our area to catch and relocate a racoon closing in on our birds. Good luck I hope you can catch your duck! Especially before something bad happens.
