Hi ! Im new to silkies but bought a blue and two lavendar splash and Im madly in love with my silkie chickens! They are gentle, cute and love to be held. My babies are still growing so it be intetesting to see how they look once they mature. I no clue if I have hens and roosters or all of one sex!

I have about a 6 week old blue silkie who charges all younger chickens, silkies and Easter eggers ( 4 weeks old n 5 weeks old) , peeks on them n is just terrible to everyone. She or he jumps up in air n tries to hurt them or be dominate not sure which! Im keeping her or him seperate in cage...

Can I raise my easter egger chicks with my silkie chicks or will there be problems ? They are exact same hatch dates !!! All where incubated ! So far so good but everyone is about 1 month old now !

We had our birthday few weeks ago and Mom"s been so busy she forgot to tell everyone ! So Happy Birthday to Daisy and Rose for turning 2 years old ! Nope we didnt want our pictures taken! We just couldnt stand still after, Mom ran out of our birthday present of extra large meal worms !
