I used some inspiration from Opa's post from a few years ago and converted my small coop nesting boxes into a roll-away.
Took off front panel for easier access. Removed old box floor.
My coop was not perfectly level so I had to adjust the ramps to the correct slope.
Does dipping the eggs in water to do a float test remove the bloom? Or would the egg actually have to be washed and scrubbed for it to be removed? If I don't get to gathering for a few days, I would like to float test and not have to refrigerate if it's ok.
I built a 55 gallon automatic waterer. Barrel is outside the run and has pvc running 5 ft to a pipe with water cups inside the run. Looking for suggestions of keeping it from freezing in the winter. Southern Indiana so we do get freezing temps but usually hasn't been too bad the past few...
