    Confused about grit

    Can chicks eat to much grit? If I put a small pan in they go crazy! I take it out after a few minutes because I worry about them eating to much?

    Well hopefully it leeds to a dumb answer. One of my Leghorn chicks keeps strtching its neck and opening it's mouth wide like its trying to caw.. gosh I don't know how else to explaine it? He/she is only about a week and a half old? Is this normal?

    About how old are chicks if they have some wing feathers?

    Thank you so much! They are peepng up a storm now that I don't have my head over the box. Lol. I dug them some worms and let them have a feild day. That was the funniest thing I have ever seen!

    I'm glad too! I've been out making a door for the lift today.. well until I recieved a nasty shock from hubby's compressor. Guess he ment it when he said not to touch anything metal on it. Ummmm yep not toucking it again period. Hope he gets home soon to start it for me:)
