    Here she is teaching them to jump up to the rungs of the roost by tapping on the rung. Pat the rooster is very good at it, mostly because he so badly wants a treat.

    Hello Steve, I cannot help you regarding sand inside of the coop but can say that I have used the bagged construction sand from Lowe’s in our chicken run. I think it comes in 900 lb bag. Our chickens love it and dirt bath in it and it also helps with the chicken poop. Although my wife has a...

    She does look just like an Easter Egger but she is an Olive Egger. We have another one that is all black too. Will see if we get some green eggs. The blue laced Wyandotte are pretty, hoping the roo is a good boy cuz he’s a pretty boy.

    Yep, so far he’s been a good boy but it’s early. As long as he behaves he can stay. I forget what his name was before we realized she was a he, but now we just call him Pat.
