Unfortunately only one doing the stance appears to have very little comb or tail feathers 🤔 what age do you recommend is best for sexing? I was told 15 wks in which these are. Should I wait longer?
Can only see two here with clear pronounced combs. It's not about comb size as such, more so how prounced and bumpy they are. For instance, I have five hens with smooth but large combs.
Bantam silkys. They are 15 weeks old. They are smaller then regular silkys due to being bantam hence the size. But they have been outside for 4 weeks now no issues. I breed silkys but still learning about sexing.
Wondering what sex they are? If anyone can tell? Cheers
I breed Goliath, jumbo, king, and regular quail. Never had issues housing them all together in all the years I've bred. I'm wanting to out Californian quail in with them. Will they breed with my other breeds of quail?
Because I'm hoping they can only breed Californian to Californian to avoid...
