    I remember my first crop scare! It's definitely the crop and completely normal. If the chick is carrying on like normal, eating and drinking, I wouldn't be worried at all.

    thank you 🥰 I wish that were the case, but she doesn't free-range. She does have a very large enclosure, but I clean it out once a week and haven't discovered any rogue eggs yet.

    Thanks!! I think I may paint some details on the white nest box cabinet and I've been thinking about maybe staining the wood to the various runs. Or maybe painting them turquoise (haven't convinced my partner of that idea yet 😅)
