I got these two about 8 weeks ago I think the blue wheaten Ameraucana is a pullet and I’m not sure about the buff he acts like a roo hoping and puffing the feathers up on his neck but they are both different blood lines so I was hoping to breed them if the genders are different.
So I’ve bred some Easter Eggers in the past an Ameraucana hen and austorlorp roo and had a few almost silver laced speckled color babies well now I want to breed for color with my Ameraucana hens and roo I have had some for a while they died and I recently got more one was a real pretty blue...
Austorlorps, RH reds, ameracaunas(wheaten, buff, blue and lavender blue wheaten), silkie, polish, silver laced wayandottes, dark blue laced red wayandottes, Bramas, salmon faverolle, speckled Sussex lavender Orpingtons, chuckars, pheasants, quail, turkeys Pekin and Rouen ducks.
Good grief I meant muffs they both have muffs and aracaunas NOT Ameracaunas and if it’s the technical term why does it matter if it literally the same thing different name
I’d suggest cackle hatchery they are npip approved and are able to vaccinate the chicks I’m not sure if they have khakis but I think I saw it on their website
I don’t know what Is corn or soy free just don’t go with purina I’ve gotten chicken feed from them and when we opened the bag it was a mix of horse feed and apple treats for horses 🤢 it was gross. I’ve always used nutriena and mixed in whatever “supplements” they need
Yes for those three breeds ant they absolutely cannot be Easter eggars wich aren’t a breed but a cross between Ameraucana and aricana they have no hood or beard so they can’t be any Easter egger
They can’t be Easter eggers since they have no hood or beard they also can’t be Ameraucana they usually aren’t that dark and they still aren’t hooded or bearded
