Roo puffed up and still, don't know what to do.

I’m sorry no one has responded. I’m not good with injuries and emergencies but I hope he gets better. 😔

Second egg today! - it’s squishy.

The shell acts as a barrier and protects against bacteria, so I wouldn't. Sometimes people feed them to their dogs/other animals, though.

    Hen or rooster

How old are they? It’s hard to tell from this angle, but I think the furthest to the right is a cockerel.

What type of bird is this?

Yep, I just moved it out of the road and into the nearest bush. All the trees/bushes were within twenty feet of each other, so if I picked the wrong one (I couldn't see any nests) it shouldn't be too far away. Plus the little guy was chirping up a storm, so his parents should have been able to...

What type of bird is this?

Yes, we have goldfinches in the area. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the parents are coming back because I was driving in a different neighborhood when I found it.

What type of bird is this?

I thought it might be a Bird, but I wasn't sure! I'm so glad you showed this to me, or I might have never known.

What type of bird is this?

My thought was a sparrow of some sort, too. Or perhaps a goldfinch?

What type of bird is this?

I found this little fledgling in the middle of the road today (just a residential culdesac, so there were trees on either side that he came out of.) He wasn’t injured, and he was able to fly short distances, but there were also some curious kids messing around with him. I put him in a bush away...

Ladies, but the first one should lay soon!

    Cockerel or Pullet?

Pullets, the second one is getting closer to lay!

Curious chicken cracked shell of egg due to hatch in two days

I... I thought the photo of the wax egg was a baked potato. I think little Squash (that’s his name now, I don’t make the rules😉) will be just fine.

    Still sitting on nest

None of them are pipped, correct? I might see if the ducks will let you candle them and see if you can see anything- movement, live/not, internal pips, etc. Feel free to post pics before you toss anything unless you’re positive they’re dead.

Chick with curly toes . .

As for the traumatization, they should get used to it within an hour or two. Trust me, they'll thank you when they can walk normally. :)

Chick with curly toes . .

My suggestion would be to cut a little piece of cardboard, put it beneath her foot and splay her toes into a relatively normal position, and then wrap the whole thing in tape. Like little duck feet. Leave the boot on for about two days, then check on it and see what happens. If they stay normal...

Hatching chick with egg full of maggots 🤮

They may have already been hanging around... Or a fly may have landed on the egg when it first started to zip, attracted to the fluids, and laid their eggs. It only takes 24 hours for the fly larvae to hatch. Perhaps you hatched eggs within hatching eggs. I think it goes without saying to keep...
