Very true, I know of a few homes in the HOA with chickens. The dogs that live around me all bark, so nuisance may be more difficult to define/take action on.
Most language I see does not include the "...unless the presence of such creatures does not constitute a nuisance….." which leaves me...

I do not want to draw attention to myself from the HOA, so I would like your input. Based on how I read the following, I feel that my HOA allows chickens. The pertinent part of the CC&Rs state:
“Animals/Pets. No animals, birds, insects, pigeons, poultry or livestock shall be kept on...
Okay folks, got the pool set up and everyone moved in. Temp ranges from 75-90. They are running and "flying" around. Next, I need to get the food and water elevated so the shavings stay out.
They will have their heat source, it just will not be the same temperature throughout the brooder. Hopefully, the 4' hardware cloth holds them for a while.
Well, I just went back to check on them and one of them was on top of the water container which would allow her to get out. I guess I will be prepping that pool today. My only concern is keeping it at the correct temperature with just the one lamp.
