    Chicken or Rooster? Rhode Island Red (RIR) Gender

    Hi y’all, Wanted your opinion on whether I have a chicken or a rooster here. Currently ~11 weeks old, was sexed at birth as a female and bought expecting a chicken but not having experience with RIR I’m having doubts. Can you please share your thoughts? Thank you.

    Unfortunately she didn’t make it. Warm baths helped but only temporarily. Seemed like reproductive issue as it impacted the laying and did not affect the other chicken. Our first loss so it was tough.
