My RIR rooster was horrible. Very mean and loved to pretend he was all fine and happy with me visiting and then as I would leave he would run up behind me and attack the back of my calves. I was not sorry when a fox ate him.

Eggs shells are free! BUT you have to crush them up to a small size to prevent them from looking anything like egg shell for obvious reason. I've heard some bake them after washing them. I have no idea at what temp or how long, but sounds good. LOL!

First one looks like a Black Tailed White Japanese and the lower one looks like a Black Tailed Buff Japanese. This is most likely the case especially if the are not very big (<2 lbs. ie. Bantams)

This is basicly for those of us who live in the south SW more particular. But would the use of a corragated tin coop be advisable? Would the heat inside be an issue even if you allowed for extra ventalation?
