Can Someone Help Me Identify this Bantam Hen

I have a hen that is IDENTICAL. When I read your description it was the exact same as mine. Heres mine...I got her from the feed store, was told she was an australorp. The other that came with her is definitely one and she on the other hand, is not quite the same. She is also incredibly fast and...

    Help? Olive egger?

Hi all! New to chickens! I purchased (what I was told) 3 Sapphire Olive Eggers. I understand this is a hybrid and could be a mix of many different breeds. I got them at about 3 weeks so they are just starting to lay. Looks like the first is laying a light greenish/blue egg...is this part of the...

    Chick not growing feathers well

I'm stumped! I have 12 that grew normally despite wrong food. They never showed signs of feather issues. So not sure if this is genetic fault, incubation fault, or maybe is food related. I just cant comprehend the others thriving while this one is struggling. Time will tell. Here's one of the...

    Chick not growing feathers well

Hah! I've managed to stump everyone. I dont know if that's good or bad! I will probably have to let it go, I do worry it is in pain and since not improving it is really probably the most humane thing to do. I am trying to give it a chance.

    Chick not growing feathers well

Hi Quail friends! This is a sort of follow up to a post I made about accidentally feeding my quail chicks the wrong food (too low of protein) for 7 days. The majority of my chicks seem to be thriving although they may be a behind weight wise for now. However this one chick looks very bad...

Update: definitely wrong food 😔 i think the guy must have misunderstood me when I last picked up food, or the guy getting the bags grabbed the wrong one. Hoping they will recover. Will update next week. 🤞
