Worried about chick development

hey all. First batch of hatched chicks. I have raised 10 before (used mazuri game bird ordered online) but I started buying food from the local feed store. I thought I bought purina startena but now I'm worried its one of the other purina game bird feeds. All of the bags look the same (I dont have the bag anymore). Some of my chicks don't seem to be growing right 1 week old now.
Some of them have feather growth thats bloody like this...am I right to assume I may be feeding them too low protein? I am doing the same as I did my first set except for food so I'm pretty convinced that I must be feeding one of the lower protein formulas by accident will they recover if i get them switched over asap? Or are they forever ruined by their first weeks nutrition? I'm so mad at myself.

For my first batch of chicks, I couldn't find gamebird starter, so I had to use chicken starter. The chicks grew up fine, but I have since given chicks a better feed.

Do you know how much protein their current feed has?

is bloody wings a side effect from low protein? :O I would have assumed fighting or something but I haven't raised coturnix in years

Thanks. Im super bummed out. My first chicks grew up beautifully. I was so proud to hatch these.
It's one of the purina game bird feeds. At first I thought since it was crumbles it had to be right but as I'm checking online it may be as low as 12%. Im cringing and praying its one of the closer to 20% formulas. I think I got the wrong bag at the feed store but the bag is long gone. Purinas whole game bird line has the same bag but different tag.

It's an easy mistake to make. Perhaps give them some boiled egg yolk for extra protein and order some more food with higher protein.

They're only a week old. Its kind of like the feathers arent able to push out properly if that makes sense? Some of the other ones displaying this problem have some oozing in this area. You can see the skin isn't really opening up to let the feathers come out. I could be totally wrong of course, this is just the only factor I've changed between chicks.

Thanks for the encouragement. Im going to the feed store tomorrow and going to get them some new food ASAP to at least rule this out as the problem.

Update: definitely wrong food i think the guy must have misunderstood me when I last picked up food, or the guy getting the bags grabbed the wrong one. Hoping they will recover. Will update next week.

That's a bummer, I'm sorry about that. We went to buy pigeon seed yesterday and the guy had put "layer crumbles" into our trunk??? I'm super thankful I wasn't completely out of food when I noticed later but how does that sound like "high pro pigeon seed" lol!

It happens I guess. Glad you recognized the mistake!! I will definitely pay better attention next time!
