Out of curiosity I tossed in the random fairy/fart egg I found while collecting eggs yesterday. I have no laying pullets right now and the color suggests it's from one of my ayam cemani which are all a year old. I candled it before I set it last night and there was definitely a yolk so...

I also have a cat and my akita loves him, but she was also raised with a cat when she was very young. The prey drive is no joke in akitas with things she didn't grow up with... Sadly she has killed a couple bunnies and tries to get the chickens every time they fly onto the dogs side of the yard.

She just turned 9 this year.
