Baby Indio Gigantes

Ok @Jmpridge I'm curious if you have noticed feathering difference in your chicks? I've got 4 that are feathering more quickly than 1 and I'm beginning to wonder if maybe they're like my brahmas and the cockerels take longer to get feathers than the pullets? Or maybe just my wishful thinking in hopes I've got 1 male and 4 female.
Photos from today at 10 days old. Photo #1 is my thought to be Cockerel.
I don't know about the feathering speed but several have sized up considerably faster. Mine are all feathered up about the same now and are showing off some really pretty colors. Their inquisitive looks amuse me daily! Here are some from earlier today. The biggest thing is the amount of food these birds consume is crazy. Play big pay big lol!

I had to google what these were, what a beautifully strange and huge bird, congratulations on your new venture into these interesting birds!

I love the pic with the one in the back looking all concerned... lol. Caption photo... lol.

I wish I could afford a breeding trio of these. If they did feather out different I think if I remember right the Pullets feather up a tiny bit faster. It will be interesting to see how they compare to the Saipans I ordered.

Ok been working a ton of ot at work but got some updates for yall! All are well now, had a bout of cocidia but hit em hard with the corid and all are kicking but now! I made a lil run outside of the stall and they are loving the sun and grass. More pics to come.

Where are you located?
I ended up with 15. After 1 hatched 5 of my own I made an order through greenfire and they were quite generous with extras plus some in my assortment so once they all feather out and I pick my keepers I'll be looking to sell roughly 6 unless I ended up with a bunch of roosters then possibly more than 6 and I prefer to send pairs or trios when possible

They're looking great! It's nice to see them feathered my 1st group is in the odd patchy feather stage and my 2nd group is only 10 days so mostly fluff.
I've concluded after my post about sex and feathering differences between the 2 that you are correct. They actually all appear to feather in at about the same rate. I just have the 1 chick that is the odd duck of the bunch and I've had to add extra protein for this 1 to get him to actually start feathering at 5 weeks now he's still mostly fluff.
In the 1st photo he's on the far right. He's growing at the same pace as his group, but just now starting to get tiny wing and tail feathers. He's the reason these guys are still inside...lol
The rest of the photos are of him at 4 weeks with just the 1 wing feather he had at 10 days old...
