MJ's little flock

I'm a little worried about tomorrow. First, I can't work at home and will be at the office for the day. Second, the forecast says 41°C, so the chicks will need doors open for the AC to reach their space. Third, hypothetically they can hop over their screen now. Four, would Blossom leave them alone all day?

I could shut her in the spare bedroom with her necessities all day. It's quite a large room, with a side room attached and an AC.

I think that's what I'll do. The peace of mind will be worth it and she sleeps most of the day anyway.

That seems a reasonable plan. 👍

It's always bittersweet for me when they move outside. The office is so quiet.
I'll be delighted to see them in a more chickeny environment before they get much older, even if it is crawling with pathogens. They'll be so happy outside.

Be good to get into the low 30s. That's a good comfort range for chicks.
