It's always bittersweet for me when they move outside. The office is so quiet.Making the most of new flying skills and the cool breeze from the AC.

That seems a reasonable plan.I'm a little worried about tomorrow. First, I can't work at home and will be at the office for the day. Second, the forecast says 41°C, so the chicks will need doors open for the AC to reach their space. Third, hypothetically they can hop over their screen now. Four, would Blossom leave them alone all day?
I could shut her in the spare bedroom with her necessities all day. It's quite a large room, with a side room attached and an AC.
I think that's what I'll do. The peace of mind will be worth it and she sleeps most of the day anyway.

I'll be delighted to see them in a more chickeny environment before they get much older, even if it is crawling with pathogens. They'll be so happy outside. It's always bittersweet for me when they move outside. The office is so quiet.
I don't think Blossom will mind very much and I'll know I'm not coming home to a disaster. That seems a reasonable plan.![]()
Be good to get into the low 30s. That's a good comfort range for chicks.I'm a little worried about tomorrow. First, I can't work at home and will be at the office for the day. Yeh, they're on the table! I put some food and water outside their room in case they end up on the wrong side of the doorway.
Blossom was licking up a treat as I shut her into the spare bedroom.
They're very ready to be outdoor chickens.I can't get over how big they are!![]()
