I live out in the country and I’m not actually worried about her flying off anytime soon because she has a hard time just waddling to her food dish etc.

I just read this and I have a handicapped Duck that can’t walk well. I’ve adopted her and I’m trying to nurse her back to health. How often should she swim? I do have a deep stock tank for her to swim in but I have to carry her outside to it.
So I had a friend help me look at her hurt leg and it looks like at one point she broke it. But the lady I got her from said it’s been 8 weeks since she hurt it. So nobody knows how she hurt it. moving forward with her and her care, it’s obvious that she needs care and isn’t in very good health...
