I don't kno how she would have gotten access to them. She doesn't free range. She's also given grit . I sent off a stool sample with the results coming back in the morning. She lives with 2 other hens that are twice her size. She has always been small.
My girl came to me at nine weeks and have been in a controlled environment. Laying eggs daily up until 4 days ago when she started acting semi lethargic. Fast forward this morning she couldn't get down the ladder from the coop so I took her into work and x-rayed her. Finding nickel size rocks in...

I have 3 23 week old hens. 1 Maran and 2 Golden Comets. The smallest one a Comet started to lay a week ago but the other two nothing yet. I have patience and they are spoiled rotten but is this normal?

I've had my girls four months and do have netting over the top but thought with the rain and cooler weather around the corner felt this would be the best route to take. Now to anchor everything down.
I have food container and water container both hanging in the coop. I also have a metal water bowl ( previously from a dog crate) attached to the outside run.
