    Hi, I have 5 pullets and a cockerel from the same hatch. They share a father but come from different hens. From what I’ve read it’s okay to breed parent to sibling or sibling to sibling for a couple of generations, so I think I should be fine but thought I’d ask! Thanks!

    I’ll take more pics in a couple weeks. Funny enough, chick #5 has the least amount of feathers grown in and he’s smallest in size but has the largest comb of all the chicks.

    Hello! I’m a first time chicken owner to 12 4-week old chicks. I’m hoping someday the hens in the bunch will give me some tasty eggs. In the meantime I know I’ll have questions along the way. Thanks for reading!
