    HELP. Foot is caught in yolk sac.

    Hello. My daughter hatched this chick yesterday. She sent me this pic today. The chick's foot seems to be encased in the yolk sac. As it is drying the foot is being tightened to its belly. Anyone see this before and what can I do.

    we moved them to a portable tractor as we need their coop for meat birds, the tractor is larger then their coop but not larger then their run and coop. we had thought that the exposure to grass would make up for the smaller area.

    If my humidity gets too high, I will get chicks with part of the yolk sak not absorbed, just lost a chick to this same thing. hope that helps
