Nothing, it doesn’t seem to bother her. 🤷♂️ Occasionally her leg slips out in front of her and she struggles to stand back up. Also can’t jump to roost with everyone else 😞
I noticed my 8 week old pullet was limping today. Her right leg hyper extends forward, seems like a joint on her thigh is injured. I’m not sure if it’s a deformity or an injury from earlier. She still gets around and eats but is there anything I can do? I’m not sure isolating her will do much...

just wanted to give an update. Our little chick is still alive but she seems to have plateaued. She is weak and is eating but not much. Not sure what else I can do for her other than keep her and mama in the warm shed.
I did mouth to mouth very gently and pumped her chest with a finger. Force too much air into her lungs and you could kill such a small bird. Also press too hard u can squish her to death. I did it on and off for about 10 minutes. Once I saw her starting to take some gasps every 30 seconds or so...
Well she seems to be back to normal thank god. Eating, drinking and snuggling under mama. Thanks you all for the help, will keep you updated if anything changes.
I went out to the coop this morning to check on the broody hen and her single chick and there I saw the little chick dead not breathing in the dust bathe. Not sure if she got suffocated under mama while she was bathing or if she got too cold. I took her inside and immediately started warming her...

I have a mite infestation in my coop. I cleaned it out sprayed with permethrin and also sprinkled permethrin powder afterward. But I still see a few mites here and there but definitely not as many.
As for the chickens I applied ivermectin pour on. How long does that take to kill mites...
Whoa thank you for all the responses! The father is the barred rock and the mother is a first generation silkie mix. I hatched the parents both out as well so I’m not sure of any genes before that. (eBay)
