aww poor baby...... What is main problem? she can't stand on her own??? like how are her legs? Sorry if you have already mentioned that in another post....All i can suggest so far, is to keep doing what you are doing and maybe put in a stuffed animal in w her or a mirror so she wont feel...

put a duckie look alike stuffed animal in with it or, heck let it sleep with you! LOL maybe not the most popular idea but worked for me, i let my one lone duckling snuggle with me in bed

I'd say Roo as well......plus it doesnt have the fluffy down on its butt lol...the darker feathers on its tail to me looks like the beginnings of sickle feathers......

You can set up a barrier around the living room like , section off where you want to pen them up and let them wander lol......OR you can just scoop them up when they have that look in their eyes, like im going to drop a bomb! JK haha...

Thanks for all your responses so far! So , so far the consensus is : Muscovy/Pekin/Cayugas? LOL. From what i can tell as far as silky ducks, i only came up with this farm's site that sells clutches of eggs to hatch but i am not a experienced egg hatcher lol ...i've never hatched a clutch...

there's such a thing as silky ducks? lol....i've never ever heard of that...just in chickens...

I checked on Ideal and Mcmurray's sites and did not see Muscovy's for sale.....Only pekins/variations of mallards/calls/runners/cayugas, etc....... And yea, I will get at least 2 and just wondered which sex is the more docile of the two (Drake or Pullet) by nature that is....
