Those of you who eat your turkey eggs, I'm wondering how long you boil them for a soft boiled egg? I love turkey eggs, but I've only had them fried or used them for baking so far. Thanks!
Hi there, last month I took in some chickens that the owners could no longer care for. We took 4, and i have identified the breed of 3 them. However, there is one i can find nothing about. She is white, has a small comb and has some black dots on her feathers. She lays blue eggs. Anyone know...

I have been checking all the bushes. They have lots of nest boxes etc. They have flint grit mixed in food, and oyster shell is free choice. Is this fine?
I see. It has been sunny recently. We are probably getting about 13-14 hours daylight. Sunrise around 6am sunset around 8pm. Although the weather here changes constantly. Cloudy tomorrow.
They seem very interested in the nest boxes and the artificial eggs, but there definitely isn't any in the garden. Hopefully they will start soon. They are 10 months old.
Wow! I only have 2 hens, but I will be the only one eating the eggs so I will be happy with however many I get. I've heard they lay less in their first laying season.
They have 2 nesting areas in the corners of the coops. I took your advice on board, and it is just a board/ wooden pallet leaning against the wall. I will definitely put a couple of fake eggs in the nests. I just can't wait until I get some eggs. I have never had turkey eggs before!
