Tonight when putting my chickens to bed I noticed that one of them had some foam in her eyes. I have been noticing that she hasn't been great at eating when I give them treats (misses them with her beak and pecks my hand sometimes). I will post a picture tomorrow as it was to dark to get a good...
try putting a duster in the brooder. When shes about a month you can put her in with the rest of your flock but sepperated with hardware cloth, or just in a dog crate.
I would like to put some curtains on the door to coop to stop drafts in the winter. Any advice on how to do this so that the chickens know how to get through
as a teenager i find this to be very insulting
also we got six 12 week old hens 3 months ago. we now think that one, pigeon is a roo. catching him is a nightmare but once you catch him he'll sit on my lap for ages.
he has long droopy tail feathers, long spurs and long and pointy neck...
I think you're right. The picture of the pullet is exactly what she looks like. What issues will she have(if any). She's very high on the pecking order at the moment.
theres plenty of elevation changes for her to jump from. how would I check if her leg is broken?
another thing that I forgot to mention is that she's moulting and growing quite a few wing feathers
I have recently noticed that one of my chickens is struggling to walk straight. If she sees the bucket of mealworms she can run to me just fine but she struggles when walking.
