    is this a blue silkie? Colors are "gray" and black. skin beak and feet are black..would the white one be a splash or paint? Just a few blackish spots.

    2nd silky of the season

    Adorable black silky. my second of the season. She went from pip to zip in 4 hours. Took her 1/2 hour to fully zip. Follow along photos below. I know its said not to mark eggs with a marker but these were under a hen and the pencil kept rubbing off. i put them in incubator the last few days.

    This is our first silky hatchling of 2023. So happy it all went well. It still amazes me how this little breed comes out of such a small egg. I love this breed. Very friendly.

    Are these 4 week old silky chicks porcelain?

    Are these white chicks called porcelain or just a mix? Is the dark one just a partridge? The big golden one is my rooster. Mothers are partridge and one white. Grandmother is white, grandfather was a dark partridge. I know anything can pop up genetically.
