    The entire "ceiling" is hardware cloth as well as the eaves of the roof. We will mount a fan to help move air during the heat of the summer.

    The "ceiling" is hardware cloth & the overhang from the roof has hardware cloth as well. It's not enclosed with soffit. Do you think that is enough proper ventilation? I can take pictures of it tomorrow to add for a visual reference.

    I clean the roosts & droppings box daily. I change the shavings on the coop floor in late spring, early summer. That's when I do a deep clean. I wipe & mop the surfaces & linoleum floors.

    Watered the onions that are planted & added some water to the garlic. I added some poppy seeds to water in a silicone muffin pans & put in freezer for the stratification. I'll throw out the frozen pucks in a few different areas in a few days!

    I fed them their favorite organic mealworms this evening. It was a gorgeous day but EXTREMELY windy! 20 to 30 mph winds with 50 mph gusts. 😳 My face feels wind burned.

    You can try the bag balm a few days & see if you notice it changing in size. Is the knot hard? Feverish when you touch it?
