It might be necessary to trim their topknots if it impairs their vision too much. You might not have to do it though, your chooks seem to be fine. Lovely birds!
The heat is not as bad as last year, but a chook, Tweety, still died.🙁 The temps don't usually go past 110. Ijak and the others are still doing well, and I improved the cooler. It's more like a real evaporative cooler now.
