Gotcha. In general, for barred birds....does coloring usually indicate sex? Like how the barred rock hens are more black and the roos more white and gray I think it is.

I could be a little off....it could be 9 weeks. I was thinking it was a lot too. My barred rock had a full red comb and wattles by like 6 weeks, so I was hoping this one was not going that route 😒
Any thoughts? Comb has come in, but it isn't red...just a light pink. Bird itself is super skittish...unlike the barred roo I had that ALWAYS wanted to be held. I think this bird is about 7-8 weeks? It took the longest to mature out of the 5 I have.
