    10 wk old Olive Egger

What do we go by at this age? I’m supposed to trade her back in one week if she really is a he 😂 I’d hate to give her up if I don’t need to.

Yep…the tail feathers are what I don’t like here and what made me start thinking cockerel.

    This olive egger 🤔

Gotcha. In general, for barred birds....does coloring usually indicate sex? Like how the barred rock hens are more black and the roos more white and gray I think it is.

    Chickens don't like treats?

That's hilarious because that's exactly what I was thinking. Like how I have to give my 7 year old a new food countless times before he might actually start liking it 🤦

    This olive egger 🤔

I could be a little off....it could be 9 weeks. I was thinking it was a lot too. My barred rock had a full red comb and wattles by like 6 weeks, so I was hoping this one was not going that route 😒

    This olive egger 🤔

Any thoughts? Comb has come in, but it isn't red...just a light pink. Bird itself is super skittish...unlike the barred roo I had that ALWAYS wanted to be held. I think this bird is about 7-8 weeks? It took the longest to mature out of the 5 I have.

    Chickens don't like treats?

I have a flock of 5. I moved them out to their coop a few days ago. They range from 8-10 weeks old, give or take. I've tried giving them snacks in addition to their feed and they want nothing to do with it! So far I've tried blueberries, raspberries, and mango. Only one out of the 5 ate a...

Cuties. Are easter eggers usually a random brees mixed with a barred rock?
