Leave them in the coop until late morning?

Newbie here. From what I understand, most people let their chickens out of the coop early in the morning. Is this really necessary? What would happen if we left them in until 7 am or so?

Hen sits in coop all day and won't lay

This year and a half old hen only comes out of the coop to eat/drink and has enough energy to pick on the pullets for a bit but then goes back to the coop and sits still for hours and has not laid for 5 days. Seems perfectly healthy otherwise. Any ideas? Thx!

    Predators Climbing Trees?

We've got an electric fence around our chicken run and their coop but there are trees within a few feet of the fence. I'm assuming that predators could easily climb one of the trees and jump over the fence. Should I be concerned about this? Thanks.

    Newbie - Whole Grains

We are new chicken tenders and have a flock of 14 - 2 laying hens, 10 - 3 mo. olds and 2 month and a half olds. Can whole grains, nuts, seeds & beans be fed to all of them or do they need to be ground, cracked or otherwise processed first? Thanks!

    Reducing processed feed?

From what I gather, in the summer, its ok to reduce the processed feed of mature hens that are foraging but what about 3 mo. old hens? Is there a recommended age when its ok to reduce processed feed and rely more on forage (we've also got a couple chicks that are only a month and a half old)...
