Hello, my rooster (1 1/2 years old) started making gurgling noises in his throat very suddenly. He keeps bowing his head while backing up like he’s trying to get something out of his throat. I don’t hear the gurgling anywhere except in his throat.

So this season my chickens have roundworms and coccida and was given Corid and panacur added to the water separate times. And Last season they had roundworms and capillaria worms and given panacur to give orally.

So right now I have been crating them alternating them out with the flock on different days it seems to be working so far but the alpha the day he’s out with the chickens he wants to breed all of them he’s sex crazed but he’s extremely friendly I can go up to him and pick him up he never pecks...
So as of right now the past few nights I’ve been putting the alpha in a pen in the garage for the night and letting the lower one stay with the girls overnight and in the morning then at noon I take the alpha out and the lower cockerel takes off to my garden bed at the house with my older hens...
