Sorry I have another question, I've been able to get the black scab off but it bleeds and forms a new scab and I can't seem to make any progress. How can I prevent the scab from forming again?
Her wound is doing much better, and I've been able to get a lot of the black scabs off and under it is nice pink skin. But what would you recommend I do to treat her infection? All around her wound seems to be swollen and protruding. Is there anything at tractor supply company I could get?
How should I clean off the black stuff? I've been picking away at it with tweezers but a lot of it is stuck on her skin and it bleeds when I pull it off.
I have no way to keep her in the house, but I've been keeping her in the coop with everything closed and some spray to keep the flies away as well as keeping the coop clean
I'm not sure it was cancer, do you think it could have been a clogged oil gland? It first started out with 2 small growths on either side of her tail perfectly symmetrical. One went away but the other got worst and is now this. When the growth fell off it was full of green, cottage cheese like...

She is still doing good, you wouldn't even know anything is wrong if you looked at her from the front. The maggots are multiplying and I've been giving her baths and picking off maggots and black flesh, but she won't hold still at all. I think the infection is getting better, the skin around the...
I completely got rid of them last time, but today was warm and the flys were bad and I saw lots of eggs on her wound. I soaked her and got them off but I saw a few tiny maggots after so I used a hose attachment and used water to shoot them out. She didn't seem to mind when I sprayed her with the...
About 7 month ago my duck had a small odd growth that kept growing untill it was pretty big, then one day I went out to check on the ducks when it had just fallen off and left a hole. I thought it was a good thing and that it could finally heal but it just won't heal. It stayed as a black scab...
