Alice, a cinnamon queen hen, aged 11 months.
Fine until mid afternoon.. couldn't find her. She seems to be having difficulty breathing with audible wheezing.
Suggestions and advice welcome.
Edited to add video in replies of Alice's laboured breathing.

Hello. New on the gardening thread.
Yesterday I noticed all my demolished milkweed (from over 30 monarch caterpillars) are making a quick come back. One caterpillar stayed and made it's crysalis under the arm of my Mary statue. Which is just lovely. My gladiolas are peeking up every where...
My hen has gone broody and I've decided to let her hatch a few young ones.
A good friend of mine has fertile hatching eggs of mixed genetics. I am curious for any females hatched what the egg colour potentials would be. I'd appreciate any knowledge anyone can share on the subject.

In the past I've raised many chickens. However this is my first time with a golden laced Wyandotte.
My chick is almost 3 weeks old and companioned with an Easter egger, olive egger, and barred rock of the same age.
My Wyandotte chick seems smaller in comparison and even her feathers are coming...
I must say, your mothers quote is very accurate and well said.
And I can relate to bone issues. My genetic disorder has many comorbidities. But one of the major effects is joints. I have osteoarthritis in several joints. And I injure easily having micro tears and inflammation in tendons and...
Yes!! We are in the process of building a run. Told the hubs we were going to have to put a pot of dirt in it. Lol oh yes.. the ducks are worse about my flowers though. They are begonia fiends. And borage. Even the chicks were jumping up and they tore down and ate all my borage. And begonia...
