She's lethargic, has bright yellow diarrhea and her comb has flopped over. I gave her a round of antibiotics but no change today. I had another older hen who had similar symptoms and died within three days.
Any idea what this could be and any ways to treat it? Or is she doomed?

Yes - he was talking about that chicken. That photo was taken at Elmos new home by his new owner, that chicken in the enlarged picture is part of Elmo's new flock, so I have no idea. Our other "rooster" Rocco, is actually a girl - thanks to almost all of the great responses I got from this forum.
Correct! That’s Elmo. We found a great home for him.. and he was/is without a doubt a cockerel. He started exhibiting male behavior pretty quickly. It was while we were looking for a home for Rocco that I thought, “wait a minute... I think Rocco may be a girl.” Which led me to this great forum.
