    First coop (still in construction)

Yeah there is very little glue in there…😂 Mostly screws. And we live in West Texas. I’m a little bit worried that they’re going to get too hot but I’ve got quite a bit of ventilation built in. I was mainly going to get silkies when I ordered my chickens but on a whim I ordered the game bantams...

    First coop (still in construction)

Just thought I’d let you take a look at what I’m doing with my coop. Head pecking wound on 9 week old silky

I washed it off with the spray stuff and then put the blue goop on there to help keep it moist and promote healing at least I thought. She seems a little bit better today than she was yesterday but she’s still not eating

    Help!!!

She hasn’t eaten since yesterday and the only time she’s drank is when I basically dipped her beak in the water. I’m really kind of worried. She’s still on her feet but she doesn’t move around.

    Help!!!

I found one of my nine week old Silkie chicks yesterday with a pretty severe head wound from pecking during the night. I’ve tried treating her with some stuff I found at tractor supply, but it doesn’t seem to be getting much better and she’s pretty lethargic and I can’t get her to eat.
