Here are the eggs that we’re getting. I forgot to mention we had turkens too, I’m pretty sure those are the ones in the middle. I’m trying to figure out which is the darker brown egg in this carton.
Do either of those lay a dark brown egg? I’m trying to figure out which hen is laying our dark brown egg. We have 21 hens. Easter eggers, speckled Sussex, blue laced red Wyandotte, barred rock, couple bantys, white Brahma, and silver laced Brahma.
I believe both the speckled Sussex and cream legbars were straight runs. I purchased 6 total. 3 of which look like pic 1/2, 2 that look like pic 3/4, and only 1 that looks like the last. I can get more pictures.
I have 3 chicks with different characteristics. We got these from tractor supply. They were in bins labeled, speckled Sussex, cream legbar, and blue laced red Wyandotte’s. They couldn’t tell us which was which, and I’m still not very knowledgeable on IDing chicks yet.
Here is a list of chickens with their approximate hatch date, with them being about 4-5months. We just started finding eggs this last week.
3/7 - Easter Eggers 4x
3/12- Silkies (Pullet/Cockerel)2x
3/12- Bantam Cochin Patridge 2x/Silver laced
3/19- Turkens 3x Pullets
4/23- Turkeys2x/...
Need help figuring out the breed of this 4 week old chick. I posted a couple weeks ago when we first got it, and our guesses were between a red sex link and a starlight green egger. ID help please 😊
I was hoping it was a starlight green egger. The chicks in the starlight green egger bin looked like my EE’s, so I was hoping they possibly switched the signs.
I’m thinking there’s a high chance it could be a red sex link, they had a large variety of chicks, so they could of been mislabeled.
Bought this chick at Tractor supply yesterday. It was in a barrel with tags listed as Cornish, black sex-link, and Easter egger. Also in other bins were barred rock, Starlight green egger, and light Brahma. Was this possibly mislabeled? Can anyone help with ID?
