So, recently I've relocated my ducks from my apartment, to my mom's house, because she has more space and they can run around outside. So, the title is basically my entire problem. I'm already out $260 and it's gonna cost a hell of a lot more. Doc says he's never done this on a duck before and will only charge for sedation, if it fails. Has anyone experienced this? Should I go to a professional, or could this possibly be done...

Sorry if I seem defiant, but I'd like a second opinion before I reintroduce them to each other. We're going to the vet on Saturday, so I'll ask them, but I just can't bare to see her freaking out like that whenever he pulls out her feathers.

The female is a Muscovy, but she runs to me in what seems like terror, when the male (black swedish) starts ripping out her wing feathers

Development in the situation. I have watched the action happen in full, finally. Caught her laying down on the ground, in front of them, and he started pecking at her neck and ripping feathers off her wings. Then she got up and ran towards me, chirping erratically. I have separated him again.

I also made her a meal out of collard greens I ripped to shreds in the blender, her usual pellets, and a few mealworms, and gave her the leftover water, with some more added to it in another dish. She seems to be eating very scarcely, but she is drinking the water. I came out to check on her and...

She tried to walk, but won't use the foot. I think I remember hearing that they need to be away from the rest of the ducks, and to have limited movement, so I made her a little nest, next to where my other duck is, so she doesn't get lonely.
