I have seen them in person. And we live in a pretty rural area and have a farm. We already have a few roosters. The snow is pretty up and down. But we generally don't let the chickens out before we have snow blowed their area. The coop stays around 35 on really cold nights because of body heat...
So I wasn't for one of these before, but I can not get over the beautiful pattern of these girls. So I have a few questions for anyone that may be able to answer.
One, they have a lot of leg feathers. We live in a colder climate. Northern New Hampshire and I'm worried about their legs/feet. We...
So I got this boy with a mix of ducks. The other ducks everyone knew what kind they were. This one is a question. The person that gave him to me thought he was a Kaki male which I know he isn't. She did have Swedish ducks but the only two drake ducks he looks like is Swedish blue or Golden...

I'm excited to see how these little guys will turn out. They're mixed between Ameraucana as the dad, and the moms are a different color of Ameraucana, Rhode Island reds, red stars, and barred rock. Wanted to show off the cuties.
Dad is a blue wheaten Ameraucana Moms are blue. Did not get them from a hatchery but a breeder. Dad is almost 2 and didn't have any feathers on legs till recently and it's mainly one leg and it's very few.
Also, wanted to appolgize that my phone doesn't like the Ameraucana word and kept...
So we hatched out 7 chicks a few weeks ago. The dad is a pure bred ameraucana. Two of the chicks are also pure bred ameraucana. Others are mixes. Well one of the pure breds starterd developing pretty heavy leg feathers. None of my chickens have feathered legs. Their dad has some but not a lot...
We just brought adult ducks home from a friend and within a week and half lost all but one. We were able to catch the last one that died before it happened and found out it was the duck plague. No vet will give me advice with out seeing the last duck and the only vet that will see him is 4 hours...
