i can take pictures. yes keeping sand and adding more, then adding shavings. the ground doesn't get wet when rain hits.

hello fed back on converting a rabbit barn into a coop for my girls. the bottom is opened but will put boards up to enclose. the barn has no floor. it has lots of sand. My question is do i have to put in a floor instead of using the ground with the sand? New chicken mom. thanks

i want to thank you so much for help. my pullet is finally better and with her sisters. I gave her monistat for 3 days and that seemed to clear it up. 👍🤗

I'll post a picture later when I get home Her crop is empty because she isn't eating. Her belly seems to be normal size. its either from the heat or yeast.

my 20 week old hen os sick with diarrhea and pale comb. treated with corid now treating for yeast infection due to the yellow and white paste stuck on her butt. i dont know for sure what she really has. first time chicken mom.
