Bantam chick gender guess 😄 Mille Fleur D’Uccle

This is the last picture I have of him before he had to be rehomed (something about him and his crowing was driving my dog insane and he was trying to get to him really bad… so, sadly, he had to go. he was a cool little cockerel though!)

    Lavender Orpington broodiness

Looking to get a Lavender Orpington this spring… Is her broodiness going to make me lose my mind!? 🤣 Are the lavenders less broody than the buffs? I’ve had a buff in the past who I swear was broody ALL SUMMER! Thanks!

Hello! I am trying to decide between welsummer and barnevelder chicks this spring… anyone have had both and have a preference? (Or have had either one and loved them ☺️). Specifically looking for which is more docile (my daughter likes to chicken snuggle 😂). quieter? And preference for less...

Bantam chick gender guess 😄 Mille Fleur D’Uccle

Hello! yes, I’ve had her a few days now and have been wondering if she’s not feeling well because she doesn’t stand super tall and is pretty calm… she’s eating and drinking well and runs around with the other and poop is looking normal now that she’s been on corid three days (we suspected...

Bantam chick gender guess 😄 Mille Fleur D’Uccle

Hello everyone! Any guesses on the gender of my 3-4week old Mille Fleur D’Uccle chick!? I’m hoping for a hen as he/she tends to stay very bunched up with head in! I’ve heard cockerels tend to stand more upright 🤷‍♀️

Thank you! I know it was one of two but not POSITIVE on which of the two… Would you recommend I wait until I’m sure before drenching or just drench both? thanks again so much!

    Very bloody dropping chicks

Thanks so much for the speedy reply! I am adding it to their water at 2.5mL per quart for now unless someone suggests otherwise! I also have them on medicated feed but I think that’s still fine to continue as I’ve heard medicated feed has such a small amount in it?

    Very bloody dropping chicks

Hello, I picked up a few ~4 week old silkies yesterday. They are alert and eating and drinking well. I did notice a little bit of blood/pink in their droppings yesterday occasionally but nothing out of the normal range to me… but this morning, one had a stool that was all blood. They were not...

    Sleeping standing/ lethargic hen… worms?

What is the color of her comb? Bright red? Or a more darker color? thanks for the response. Her comb is paler than “normal” however everything on her (legs, comb and wattle) have always appeared lighter/paler than my others seem to be. But I would say her comb is paler than her normal (as it’s...

    Sleeping standing/ lethargic hen… worms?

Hi all! We have a four month old olive egger in our small flock of five who we found yesterday sleeping standing up with her head tucked under her wing and very lethargic… I spectated her from our flock in a separate run with electrolyte water and feed and ran to the co-op for dewormer and...
