Hello everyone!
Any guesses on the gender of my 3-4week old Mille Fleur D’Uccle chick!? I’m hoping for a hen as he/she tends to stay very bunched up with head in! I’ve heard cockerels tend to stand more upright 🤷‍♀️

Bunched up and head in usually means sick.

It's a bit early, but looking like a pullet so far. Update at 6 weeks.
Hello!
yes, I’ve had her a few days now and have been wondering if she’s not feeling well because she doesn’t stand super tall and is pretty calm… she’s eating and drinking well and runs around with the other and poop is looking normal now that she’s been on corid three days (we suspected coccidiosis when we first got her home.) Hoping to get her on vitamins/supplements once done with corid treatment.

Good treatment plan!

Looks just like my pullets.

Awh! I submitted feather testing for gender to a dna facility and it said she is a MALE! 😮 anyone know if these things are pretty accurate!?

She's a bit young to be 100% positive either way, but if expect more comb development on a 4 week old d'Uccle cockerel.

I have seen the DNA tests be wrong once on here I believe. Not sure what company that member used.

Have any update pics?
