I think the blue astralorp is a roo, his wattle is sprouting and comb is really pinking up this week. Im super confused about the lavender sussex. She has a little wattle developing but her comb is still small and doesn't appear to be growing much. She is one of my childrens favourites so we...

Light Sussex #2 this one has bigger legs but still no wattle. Slightly pink comb. Hopeful for pullet.
Thanks, Stormy is my black one - kids named her lol. Pepper the Lavender was always friendly but never acted rooish like the Buff which I’m sure is a roo. We were hopeful but oh well least we can prepare to hopefully rehome.
I hope the black Australorp “Stormy” is female. One of my faves. The Lavender Sussex I was hopeful because I also love that one it feathered in so quick but starting to turn pink. 😭
Nooooo! Lol. I had a feeling the first light Sussex might be my only girl. I was hoping at least two because of no other pullets I’ll have to find her a friend.
