Hen or Roo 5-6 week Sussex & Australorp chicks

Yes there is a chance for the BA. The Lav looks male though.
Thanks, Stormy is my black one - kids named her lol. Pepper the Lavender was always friendly but never acted rooish like the Buff which I’m sure is a roo. We were hopeful but oh well least we can prepare to hopefully rehome.

Buff Sussex is the only obvious cockerel and perhaps the Blue Australorp. Update in a few weeks to be sure on the others, but all appear to be pullets! I am not as familiar with the maturity rates of the Australian lines of these breeds as they're bred a bit less for production compared to the birds here.

The Black Australorp looks like my Tiny at a young age. Update when those shiny tail feathers start coming in!

I think the blue astralorp is a roo, his wattle is sprouting and comb is really pinking up this week. Im super confused about the lavender sussex. She has a little wattle developing but her comb is still small and doesn't appear to be growing much. She is one of my childrens favourites so we hope its a hen.

Is that the one who’s name is stormy?
Yes Stormy. Did you see the updates photos I posted week 7-8. Originally I posted week 5-6.
I'll update photos again in another couple of weeks. Hopefully we know for sure by then as I will need to return the roo's as we can't keep them in our suburban backyard.
