I have a pretty big flock of white laced red cornies for sale. All ages, most are pretty, some aren't.
I'm only asking $5 each or I will make someone a killer deal on the whole family. I won't ship, so pick up is in SW michigan. I can send pic's to those who are interested.
Selling out of Call Ducks. SQ, BQ and PQ available. Crested and non, most all colors available and all ages. Pick up only in SW Michigan. I can send out pic's to those who are interested. The more you buy the more you save. Prices will all be very reasonable as I have to reduce this flock...
Just to clarify things, that big blue bird in the back is not a DUCK, even though he thinks he is. That is Jose`.
Harriet, the little (I think) Apricot mallard, was born and only child.
Kate came to the rescue with a chick born the same day.
She was careful to pick me out a little rooster.
He...
I've got a little chocolate hen that is collecting eggs right now and she spends enough time sitting and messing with them to keep them from freezing but not starting. She's a nut anyway though. I worry more about when she does sit and hatches them that there will still be snow on the ground...
Glad her eye is better. But here is an idea for you anyway...lol.
I use regular people antibiotic drops for all my chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, whatever. I have the ointment too and they hate that goopy stuff.
I save all my eye drop crap from the doctor, I bet you could even bum some off...
I have several that go broodie. My favorite white hen, who just recently passed away, was the best mother ever. She took forever building her nest and would be evil to other birds around her and would leave bruises on you if you tried to check how many eggs she had. She did however try to...
Easttxchick, I saw that too. They are well ahead of us in the color department and way more accepting of new colors too. I am partial to white too. I got a really pretty chocolate hen last year that is a softer, cocoa color and now she is my new favorite.
Again, does anyone know anything about the color, my main question...?????
I believe this was her main question. Kate did not post here asking, "Hey yall whatcha think of great new Call ducks?"
She simply asked a question about color. Lavender or Lilac, which is it and what is the...
Kate, I can completely understand why you are done posting here. There is a reason why I have been a member here for years and even the "old" BYC to which I posted a lot. and yet so few posts. I have found that here, it is better to be a ghost than to post. You will find some really honestly...
Kate, your colors are awesome. You obviously have a very good eye and a nose for genetics. I too agree, keep at it and don't give up. Some folks believe in building the barn first and than worrying about painting it. That probably works for some, but not so much in call ducks. Getting a...
I've got 30 calls all running together on the ground in a huge covered pen. Once they've established who the "big cheese's" are, than the fighting stops. In the spring I sometimes seperate out into colors just because, but in the winter they all have to live together. The biggest thing I've...
I have a hobby flock of 30 and they are laying like CRAZY. It happens every year, I bring them all up to the front of the barn for winter, add heat lamps for the waterers and the added light and warmer barn is enough to make them think it's spring. I have 80 in the bators and am selling off...
how much would they be if I could pick them up?
Can I only buy 2 eggs?
I only want 2.
I want a white one with yellowish spots and I want a blue one with whitish spots.
I want the yellow one to be a girl chicken and the blue one to be a boy please.
How much for just 2 eggs in those colors?
Please...
