Does anyone have an extra Jaerhon roo to spare? I *had* a quad of these beauties (dark, I believe) and my own dog killed my rooster when the rooster escaped the coop during cleaning one day. He high-tailed it for the woods and I couldn't catch him to put him back in safety and late that night...

I butchered two of my extra male coturnix today as they were harassing the hens and just causing problems. I've never processed quail, but after a quick tutorial, I did pretty well I think. The question is: how long do they need to "rest" in the fridge before I cook them?

Did the advanced search and search by username option. No luck. Unless the user gave me a completely wrong name, which I copied and pasted from their email, then I guess i am out of luck.
I too am having issues with the change. I suppose I will get used to the new site eventually, but I just feel overwhelmed by it all. It's become super complicated for me to search users, to figure out how to correctly upload/post photos, etc. It's just so busy seeming. Almost too much...
