It looks just like the black painted one.
The other picture is what it looked like while we were building it, but to give y’all an idea… this is their coop.
I’ll have husband get pictures in the morning (I have a weak stomach 😩), but he picked the last one up for the night. He said it looks like their intestines just fell out.
I may have a picture of the coop though! I’ll see if I still have it!
The hole is small like a rat hole!!! But it’s so new. Their coop is new, my husband just built it for them. I may have a picture. What makes rats pull their insides out?!?!?! 😭 this is so random. They were all just fine then all of a sudden I lose 3.

Day 2 and I’ve lost 3 Broiler chickens to their insides falling out of their bums….. yesterday I lost 2 and today I lost 1.
I googled and saw “Prolapse Vent”
But could something be ripping their insides out?! Because we discovered a new hole dug under their coop yesterday… covered it and its...
8 week old rooster attacked. 😩
He’s eating & drinking, walked to feeder & waterer (not fully standing to walk - more like crouching).
Skin torn off of breast (no blood) - breast intact.
Hole in top of back - not bleeding at this time.
Can move his neck.
Pain meds?
Cleaning wounds?

Aww, thank you! I can't stand losing my chickens. It really breaks my heart.
Thank you for all the advice, I greatly appreciate it. I was actually just thinking and telling my husband to build them a floor in their coop almost like a shed or mini house. I hate to see them get eaten by...
So this morning I went to feed my girls and one was missing. My chickens were all free ranging once (for an entire year) until I came home from vacation and all 6 of my girls were gone and we even had someone check on them twice daily 😭 well I bought 4 new chickens…. And now two are gone 😭 One...
Good to know! I was told that she was only a year old…. (The new hen that we welcomed) however, she does appear to look different from the rest of them. My barred rocks are bright white & black (of course) and she has more of a yellow tint to her color.
Thank you for that information. That's really good to know. I greatly appreciate it! It appeared to be blood clots, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions.
Has anyone ever seen anything like this? We’ve had chickens for 4 years and never seen this. We just got 2 new chickens from another farm (both barred rocks). We went to eat eggs this morning, but this raised a flag. Does anyone know what it is? Or has ever experienced this? They’re like brown...
We have been having chickens for 4 years now (never seen this before) and this morning my husband went to make breakfast and one of the eggs caught us off guard. It has brown specks in it, almost like pepper. We recently picked up two new chickens to add to our farm, both barred rocks. Has...
She passed! She was doing great and then she took a significant turn for the worse. She was eating, drinking, and moving her neck on her own, but she was not able to stand at all or completely sit up right. She could move one leg, but not the other; only it’s toes and slightly.
Thank you for...
