    If it is lethargic put it on a warm hot water bottle, they can be lethargic when cold, bottle warms them up quicker.

    I know this is a few years ago, but how long did you leave the leg wrapped up? I have a guinea with similar and have tried a few times to sort out, and have now wrspped up like yours, but would like to know how long to leave. Thanks

    Just given him a bath, tried the witch hazel and the cream, am hoping they help take the swelling down.

    Thank you, took mine to the vet he is prolapsing which isnt great and his vent is quite swollen, they can try a stitch but as swollen may not work. Ahhh. May see if i can get epsom salts and see if that will help. Otherwise they are talking about putting him down. As a rare breed gander that...

    Morning, may i ask did worming sort him out? I have a gander with the same thing, have cleaned him up, given him some antibiots, pain relief and having read this some wormer, have put something on it to keep it moist. Will talk to vet tomorrow after inspecting again. Any other advice would be great!
