definitely! i just dont know how to make it lock automatically. im probably just being extra about the door locking. we've never had a predator issue (knock on wood).
Hi!
For months I have been looking for an automatic timed coop door that locks. Problem is, I need it to be oversized. Our mini pigs and mini goats and turkeys use it as well. our current door is 15"x23". Before I gave up I thought I would try asking here. I can't be the only one who needs an...
Hi! My chick eggs were due to hatch 5 days ago. One hatched 7 days ago. The other 11 are still in the incubator. Most of them I can see a chick shape but it's very watery in there. Doesn't seem like the chick grew as large as full term chick. And some of them are fully black. No air cell. Idk if...
No. I can go take one, but even close up they all look exactly the same. I don't know why I hadn't though of this but someone had mentioned the white rocks will grow so much faster and in a week I'll be able to tell who's who!
Hi! I ordered blue azure and white rock x Cornish chicks from minor bros. When I picked them up, they were all in the same box 🤦♀️. They all look the exact same. Since they are both white birds, they will continue to look the same...? How can I tell them apart as I have different plans for each...
Hi! We are new to goats and recently had our first birth here. Nigerian dwarfs. She had her 2 babies almost three weeks ago. It was her first birth and everything went smoothly. She is just over 1 year old. The pregnancy was a whoopsie due to us being so new at this. The mama has been twitching...
Looking for hatcheries with rare, colourful or interesting breeds that ship fertilized duck and chick eggs to Ontario, Canada. I've googled it but haven't found much luck with finding interesting breeds that will ship to Ontario (especially with ducks)
Hahah that's alright. We loved this experience of it since this was our first hatch. The kids as well as us must've crowded around the tiny incubator window for hours. Checking it 18 times per day. Lol any tips on how to guess the sex? Still learning
I have no idea. Lol we had 3 or 4 different egg colours (which I wouldn't say I remember the colours with certainty) and I have no clue which was which. I've never thought of narrowing it down via egg colour. Brilliant! Will keep that in mind next time. I clearly have a larger learning curve...
Asp wondering about these 2 white ones. Neither has much black. The one has a couple black spots on its back and the other is white and cream coloured! Thanks so much for your help! Hoping I'll know al of this on my own one day LOL
Hi! I am new to chickens and just hatched my first incubated eggs on Jan 15. So they are about 5 weeks old now. Still in the house but ready to head to the heated barn soon. My father in law gave me eggs and an incubator for Christmas! However, he didn't get any info on the types of chicken eggs...
